Ring Resizing Process and Costs
At TAYLOR KOM, we understand how important it is to have a ring that fits perfectly. We offer a ring resizing service for customers who may have selected the wrong size, though we do not have a physical location where you can drop off your ring. All resizing orders are handled online and by mail. Below are the details about our resizing service:
Turnaround Time
Our typical turnaround time for resizing is 3-5 weeks. This may vary depending on the complexity of the design. Rings with intricate designs, especially those with diamonds set all around the band, may take longer to resize. Some designs, such as rings with diamonds across the entire band, cannot be resized.
Free Resizing
We offer free resizing for adjustments of up to 1-3 sizes (either larger or smaller). For more significant changes, particularly if a larger size is needed, the ring may need to be remade, which will incur an additional cost.
Rings That Cannot Be Resized
Certain rings cannot be resized due to their design. This includes:
- Rings with diamonds or gemstones set around the entire band (eternity bands).
- Rings with intricate, delicate designs.
- Designs where the ring’s structure would be compromised by resizing.
Costs for Larger Resizing
For rings that need resizing beyond 3 sizes, especially in the case of increasing the size significantly, the ring may need to be remade. The costs are as follows:
